Nissan GQ GU Patrol to Ford Falcon BARRA Engine Conversion KIT (inc. XR6 Turbo)

Planet Parts’ Barra Conversion kit allows you to install a Ford Falcon BARRA 4.0L Engine (Turbo or N/A) into Nissan GQ & GU Patrol Models.

All components come in a black powder-coated finish to ensure they won’t rust once installed.

Please note: Wiring kit is not included. This kit is supplied with the parts required to fit the motor only. Additional parts will be required.

What’s included:
1x Pair of Conversion Engine Mounts

1x Alternator front & rear relocation brackets (to place the alternator higher up than the factory position to protect it from water/sand/mud)

1x Power Steering Pump front bracket

1x Power Steering Pump spacer plate

1x Power Steering Pump brace/support bracket

1x Accelerator pedal bracket/adaptor (allows you to fit BA-FG drive-by-wire accelerator pedal)

1x Power Steering Reservoir Bracket (Designed to suit the ZD30 remote reservoir)

1x All high-tensile bolts and nyloc nuts & washers required

Installation notes:

IF YOU ARE USING AN FG OR FGX ENGINE: The factory FG/FGX engine mounts are too wide for the Patrol chassis rails. You will need to replace them with the BA/BF engine mounts for the motor to fit.

The engine mounts will position the engine slightly off-centre to allow enough space for the factory Barra Turbo to be installed.

This kit is designed to work with the ZD30 remote Power Steering Pump Reservoir. You will need to supply this part yourself. A longer belt is also required.

The Accelerator pedal bracket/adaptor is height-adjustable, so you are able to position the accelerator pedal to your preferred position.
