About Us

Good parts. Fair prices. That’s Planet Parts.

Founded by Adam in 2012, Planet Parts started with a frustration familiar to plenty of Australian car enthusiasts: paying too much for parts.

Commodore and Falcon owners were regularly being charged far more for comparable parts than owners of Japanese and American performance cars. Adam started digging through parts catalogues, researching alternatives and questioning prices that others simply accepted.

What began as a search for better value grew into a business built around delivering it.

Better Parts. Without the Inflated Price.

We don’t believe affordable parts have to mean cutting corners. Smarter design, larger production runs and sensible margins can make quality automotive parts much more accessible.

Today, Planet Parts manufactures a range of more than 200 custom parts, covering performance upgrades, preventative maintenance and replacement components. Investing in modern manufacturing equipment lets us improve designs, control quality and keep costs down. Many of our products priced at less than half the cost of competing alternatives.

Our standard is simple: if we wouldn’t fit it to our own vehicles, we won’t sell it for yours.

More Than Our Own Products

Alongside our own range, we stock new and used automotive performance and service parts from brands including Walkinshaw Performance, HSV, Holden, GMSV, Brembo and more.

We work directly with Walkinshaw Performance and source discontinued and hard-to-find stock across the Holden, HSV and GMSV range. Helping owners keep these vehicles on the road is a big part of what we do, whether they need a performance upgrade or a replacement part they’ve been told is no longer available.

We’re also constantly looking for other manufacturers whose products meet our standards for quality and value.

Trusted by Over 200,000 Customers

We’ve now served more than 200,000 customers, supplying enthusiasts and everyday drivers alongside hundreds of Australian workshops and workshops overseas.

Our capped markup policy keeps our pricing grounded. Being the only business with a particular part in stock isn’t an excuse to charge whatever we like. We want customers coming back because they trust us, and because the parts and prices speak for themselves.

Our approach hasn’t always made us popular with competitors, but our customers seem to love it.
