The factory timing chain fitted to Ford Barra engines is adequate for standard applications, but it is a know weak point in high-performance builds.

Our reinforced, 8mm-pitch timing chain features fine-blanked plates and cold-forged bushes for improved strength, durability and resistance to chain stretch under demanding conditions.

Proven in our own 1000+hp Barra builds, it is ideal for performance engines running increased boost, higher RPM or upgraded valve springs.

Will also suit all FPV BA-FGX 6cyl models.
Will NOT suit V8 models.

Please note: Despite misleading “double-row” descriptions found elsewhere, this chain retains the correct factory-style single-row configuration, with reinforced construction designed for high-performance applications. A double-row chain has two parallel rows of links and requires matching double-row sprockets. This chain is a reinforced single-row chain and fits the factory-style Barra sprockets.
