Ford Ranger Next-Gen 3.0L V6 Diesel Twin Transmission Cooler Kit – 10 Speed Auto

Keep transmission temperatures under control with the Planet Parts Twin Transmission Cooler Kit, designed specifically for Ford Ranger Next-Gen models fitted with the 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine and 10-speed automatic transmission.

Excessive transmission heat can reduce fluid life, affect shift quality and accelerate internal wear, particularly when towing, touring, driving off-road or operating under sustained load. Adding additional cooling capacity helps keep transmission temperatures more consistent in demanding conditions.

Heavy-Duty Twin Cooler Design

Our kit uses a single heavy-duty steel mounting bracket to support both transmission coolers. One cooler is mounted at the front of the bracket with the second positioned directly behind it, creating a compact twin cooler assembly designed around the available space in the Next-Gen Ranger.

The mounting bracket bolts directly to the radiator support panel using existing factory holes, meaning no drilling is required. This provides a clean, secure installation without the need to modify the vehicle's radiator support.

Both transmission coolers are custom manufactured specifically to suit our mounting system and feature a 29-row design with heavy-duty 0.6mm fins.

Many comparable cooler kits use thinner 0.4mm fins. The heavier 0.6mm construction provides increased durability, making the coolers better suited to vehicles exposed to vibration, corrugated roads, towing and off-road use.
