Upgrade your brakes to these MASSIVE 4-piston Rear Brembo calipers – a huge improvement from the factory Commodore brakes!

This brake upgrade kit has been specifically designed to suit Holden VT, VU, VX, VY & VZ Commodores. It utilises the rear Brembo calipers from VF2 Redline edition models. This means future access to affordable replacement pads and discs.

NOTE: The rear calipers in this kit are also from the Cadillac CTS-V. These are identical calipers to the Brembo calipers on VF Redline edition models, except they have the GM's V logo printed on the front instead of the Brembo logo. They are 100% genuine Brembo calipers made in Italy.


The kit is very straight-forward and easy to install by anyone familiar with brake systems and can be installed with basic hand tools in under 3 hours.

The adaptor brackets are manufactured from billet 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and are heat treated and anodized black to guarantee durability.

The kit retains use of the factory handbrake.

What the kit includes:

REAR KIT:

• Set of REAR 4-Piston SILVER Genuine Brembo Calipers

• Set of REAR RDA EXTREME High-Performance Brake Pads

• Set of REAR Brake Pad Retainer Pin Kit

• Set of REAR billet 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium caliper adaptor brackets (including hand brake spacer brackets)

• 10 x REAR rotor bushings (required to reduce the stud holes on the brake discs to accept the smaller diameter  VT-VZ wheel studs)

• All bolts and washers required for installation

Brake Discs Information:
Brake discs are not included in this kit.
The rear discs required are the brake discs that come fitted to HSV E-Series models, Size: 350mm x 25mm. (RDA Part Number: RDA7376, DBA Part Number: DBA42031)

IMPORTANT: You will need to enlarge the centre hole on both front and rear rotors from 67.4mm to 71.4mm (if you follow the same taper/angle as the stock centre hole). If you cannot reproduce the same taper, then it is recommend to increase the hole size to 76.2mm – this will still allow the disc to still sit central on the hub because of the stainless steel stud sleeves (included with our kit).
The hole can be enlarged with a rotary tool/Dremel quite easily, however we do recommend having it done on a lathe or by a machinist.

Brake Pad Information:

Brake pads are included in this kit (RDX2083).

Brake Pad specs:
Rear brake pads required: Equivalent to VF2 Redline Edition Models with rear Brembo Calipers (RDA Part Number: RDX2083).

Installation Notes:

The factory steering knuckles are cast iron and may have an uneven finish from the manufacturing process. This can cause the brackets to not sit flush against the knuckle. If this is the case, you will need to sand/grind the steering knuckles to a smooth finish.

You will need a minimum 18” wheels to clear the brake upgrade. Wheels needs to have an offset of 35mm – 42mm. Larger offsets can work but these wheels usually have concave wheel spokes that may rub on the caliper. In some instances, a small wheel spacer (2mm-5mm thick) may be required.

You will need to trim/remove the rear dust shields to allow the larger caliper to fit.
