The TransGo SK 722.6-A Performance Shift Kit is designed to correct common hydraulic pressure, shifting and converter clutch issues found in Mercedes 722.6 automatic transmissions, also known as the NAG1 in Chrysler applications.

Suitable for a wide range of 1996 onwards Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the 722.6 / NAG1 transmission, this kit provides a practical valve body upgrade without requiring transmission removal, machining or specialised tooling.

Designed to address:

• Insufficient transmission pressure rise
• 2-3 shift flare
• Torque converter clutch (TCC) slip
• TCC shudder
• Soft or excessively smooth shifts
• Shudder during hard acceleration from a standing start
• General shift quality and drivability concerns

Important Pressure Regulator Valve Note:

There are two different Pressure Regulator Valve sizes used in 722.6 transmissions.

The SK 722.6-A kit contains the smaller Pressure Regulator Valve, which is the most commonly used version.

Some V8, high-performance, turbocharged and other high-output applications may use the larger Pressure Regulator Valve. The existing valve should be checked before ordering where there is any uncertainty.
