The Planet Parts traction rod system is a simple but highly effective design for preventing leaf spring wrap, controlling axle tramp, and improving traction under load.

Our traction rods act as a mechanical brace between the leaf spring and chassis, converting unwanted axle movement into forward-driving force. It’s a reliable, track-and-street proven upgrade for leaf-spring setups.

The rods’ preload can be fine-tuned via the threaded bar: add tension for racing applications, or run it neutral for smoother ride quality on the street.

ALL Ford Falcon BA, BF, FG, & FGX UTE models (inc. FPV, XR6 Turbo, and XR8). Will not suit Sedan or Wagon models.

Installation Notes:
Installation Instructions are supplied.
Installation and setup is straightforward for anyone familiar with leaf-spring setups. The rear brackets require welding to the leaf spring pad. The front brackets are bolt-on.
