Our Performance Valve Springs are an Ovate wire spring, with 95Lbs seated tension and 235Lbs at .500 lift.

These are a MUST for engines with over 300rwkw. Our springs help eliminate valve float, which causes power loss. Valve float can also damage valve stem seals, collets and retainers.

The factory valve springs have (approx.)  48-50psi of seat pressure. When you increase your boost, this reduces the pressure further (e.g. An additional 20psi will also reduce the seat pressure by 20psi). Adding anything above 10psi of pressure will not give enough seat pressure for the valves to remain closed at high rpms.

Our springs are a simple drop-in set up designed to work with stock retainers & locks, however we recommend using Titanium Retainers for vehicles with over 500rwkw.
