Ford Falcon BARRA Ignition Coil Adaptor Kit to Nissan R35 GTR Ignition Coils VR38DETT BA BF FG XR6 Turbo VR38

This coil adaptor kit allows seamless installation of Nissan R35 GTR VR38DETT smart ignition coils into Ford BARRA 6-cylinder engines. Known for handling over 2500 horsepower, R35 coils are essential for high-performance builds.

The kit features a CNC-machined billet aluminium adaptor plate, six custom injection-molded high-temperature silicone stalks, and custom extended-length springs for easy integration with factory R35 coils. All necessary mounting hardware is included for a straightforward installation.

Please note:

Ignition coils are not included. You will need to supply 6x ignition coils. We recommended using genuine Nissan coils for best results.

Wiring harness is not included. You will require an ignitor delete loom when using a factory ECU, or other Plug-and-Play ECUs. Not required with Wire-In ECUs.

Installation Notes:

Kit will only fit the FG rocker cover, however the FG cover does fit the BA-BF.

R35 coils have different windings compared to the factory coils, so your ECU will need the correct dwell time to be set to fire at their optimum performance rate.

It is important to recalibrate the MOSFET current draw values as the R35 coils are significantly different compared to factory coils. If not recalibrated, you may get false misfire errors.
