The TransGo 46-PLT-96 Separator Plate is a direct replacement for worn or damaged valve body separator plates used in applicable GM 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E automatic transmissions.

Located between the valve body and transmission case, the separator plate plays an important role in directing hydraulic fluid through the transmission's control circuits.

Over time, the original plate can become worn, distorted or damaged from repeated check-ball contact, heat cycling and high mileage. In severe cases, the check balls can wear into or through the plate, causing hydraulic cross-leaks, poor shift quality and transmission control issues.

The TransGo replacement plate is manufactured from tempered steel for improved durability and is plated for added corrosion resistance.
